Work From Home (WFH) routine

With DORSCON Orange, the office commenced Work From Home (WFH) routine to minimise contact between staff. It started with "those who drives" vs "those who are using public transport".  However with the number of cases escalating by the days, decision was taken to have ALL STAFF to work from home. The first week was most disruptive, as files that were needed for reference were not available, printouts not possible and a virtual office in the home was hastily setup. Started with a laptop, at various locations but eventually to a more permanent layout, with all the stationeries in place.
When the weather was reasonably cooler (like after a rain/drizzle), the patio was a great place to work with lots of fresh air but as the days got warmer, hot and humid, its back to the make-do office in the room, with multiple screens for checks and video calls whilst crafting out responses.
Great part of WFH is the lesser need to be in office attire. More opportunities for home cook meal and the need to commute to/from work. Perhaps, the start of a new working concept for the Centre. Need lesser workspace and greater time management.
