12 years later

Brought Aaron-James & Sarah-Marie onboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) in 2003. It was their first time onboard the Nimitz class Supercarrier when she called at Changi Naval Base. 12 years later, brought him onboard her sister ship, USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), also at Changi Naval Base. Interestingly, he was onboard both ships in fairly similar coloured outfit (uniform). How time flew ?

Wonderful Fishing Outfit

Found this fishing outfit in an Australian Outback equipping store. For about A$45.00, it certainly aid the back breaking tasks of bending and balancing (to prevent a dip into the pond) acts. Sure made the task much easier.

Mass in AussieLand

Attended Sunday morning mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary @ Melbourne. Met Fr Trang Yu (from Vietnam). Full of energy and definitely more IT inclined, uses his iPad for reference and with a one-man AV specialist for slides and Digital Hymns. Really a OMO type of mass. No wardens, no alter boys. It was mass, Aussie style.

Another Kingfisher !!

Kookaburra sits on the old Gum Tree !! (Can you see it ?). Very well camouflaged, resting before it goes fishing !! Was told its a Kingfisher !!!
Thank goodness not found in Singapore.
