Surprise !! Surprise !!!

As family members gathered at the Ellenborough Market Café, @ Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel, the unsuspecting 21-to-be Clarissa-Anne was with Mom and grandparents making their way for dinner. Within the short span of cake collection, balloons decoration and quick setup, the stage was in place to the theme of HARRY POTTER to surprise the Birthday girl.

Dressed in whatever, close to the movie, make believe (i.e. Hogwarts T-shirt, coat, witches hat and wand) to Azkaban signs and wizard frame and a homemade butter-beer cake (made by her cousin, Krystal Kay) and Harry Potter tie and glasses .... all were ready to surprise the 20 yr old +364-day birthday girl.

It was simply a night of indulge in "food", photo-taking and make believe posses, to usher Clarissa-Anne to the world of 21 years and beyond. Happy Birthday !!!

Full of Crabs

Met up with Chin, Pauline and Priscilla for a Crabie Meal @ a restaurant at Katong named "Full of Crabs" (Opp Holy Family Church). It was really a meal "eating off the table". The meal came in plastic bags, the finger snacks were left on the table top, if ketchup or chilli sauce is required, squeeze it onto the table and everything was disposable. Interesting concept !! Had an enjoyable evening. Another version of finger licking good. Thanks Pauline for the meal and the experience and yes, we were definitely "messy".
