Flying the Flag.

Started school in 1965. Having said the pledge every morning in front of the Flag @ the school assembly was then a routine. As years past, that same Flag & Pledge took a different place in life. As a Boy Scout making the 1st Scout Promise, and subsequently receiving the President Scout Award (PSA), as a Serviceman on recruitment day, on receiving the Commission and taking the Command Oath as a Commanding Officer .... Now, flying the Flag at HOME and seeing the neighbours doing it as well certainly add to the moment. ....each had a different meaning but the same commitment towards HOME. We came a long way. Happy Birthday Singapore !!
