Charlie of Wealth

Whilst at Hong Kong Restaurant @ The Serangoon Gardens Village, a Charlie Brown looking "God of Wealth" popped by to wish the lunch time diners "Good Luck & Good Fortune".

The annual Day 2 gathering at home saw the TJOENG Family coming by together with "friends of the family". Came at various time of the evening and dispersed in 3 separate groups, at the living room, dinning room and porch area.

3 separate "Yu Sheng" tossing took place simultaneously. (Fortunately, all the fishes in the pond were accounted for !!!). Turned out quite well for an uncoordinated first time effort. With catered food from Mum's Kitchen and the mixed of "whatever drinks", it was just an evening of dine & get together.

No CNY is complete with the usual "21" to end the day. Lucky for some,  and of course, charitable for others, it was to the tune of "Huat-ah !!!"

Its goodbye DRAGON and hello SNAKE for 2013. Started the eve with the traditional "yu sheng" (the "magical illusion" dish where pieces of slice fish disappears after the tossing). Re-union dinner was at "Roland's Restaurant" (Marine Parade).

The annual routine of the family shot was done at the living room to the backdrop of the yellow-ish wall with the silver grey sofa in the fore-ground. Then its the usual visits to the in-laws place, the grand uncle/aunties and rounding up at the God-parent's place for the concluding "feasting routine" for Day 1 of the Lunar New Year.
