Good Morning Bangkok

Having stayed at a hotel that is surrounded by food outlets is certainly a plus. Though most of the larger departmental stores open at 10am, many of the food outlets are up and going by 7am. Its difficult to go hungry in Bangkok. Lots of yummy stuff (some unidentifiable) in practically every street corner. When all fails, there is alway Roland around wishing one and all, SAWADEE-KARP !!!

My first morning breakfast walk, brought me to Chester Chicken. For 99 Baht, it was yummy tasty pork chops, served with rice/fries with salad and a drink. Not too bad as the portion wasn't too large to spoil your day and tasty enough to just enjoy the morning. Though its a fast food chain, it tailor very much to the local taste, Even the McDonalds here has its local flavor. Day 2 breakfast saw me at a "Chicken Rice" outlet, just two streets away. Tasty meal complete with winter melon soup. Not quite like Pow Sing, but close enough. Like Hong Kong .... its food, food and food here.... but with one extra .... FOOT reflex, at the end of the day. Simply great !!!
