80th Birthday Bash

Godpa turns 80 and the Chief Elf (Sylvia) gathered the rest of the gang, in collaboration with the Lau Sisters planned the craziest party-ever. To the theme of uncoordinated outfit but must be complete with "hats", the stage was set for the Easter Sunday bash. With make-do party decorations, assorted range of self-brought tables/chairs and "named plastic cups", the DJ played a series of "oldies but goodies" with some fun & games + sing-along (for those who knew the tune to join in). The Tan Sim Boh press (Joyce) was ready at hand to take instant snap-shots to complete Event Album (complete with hand/foot prints of the birthday boy !!!)

As for the family, there was the "happy beach-goer (Cool Babe), with boots", the "Tua Hia (Big Brother), who goes round terrorising whoever he can find in the dark", "The Mixed-up kid, sings & toast for any good reasons" and the confused IJ gal who goes by a "guy's name ...of "Justin B". (Cannot really let the hair down. Hats were on !!!)

SECRET to be SLIM !!!

Was alerted by Irene (sister-in-law) that my Lunar New Year picture was featured in the Singapore Shipping Assocaition (SSA)'s newsletter. Though the published version didn't look too good, managed to get hold of the original shot. On closer examination of the photograph, it was NOT THAT BAD. Suddenly discovered the SECRET to being SLIM. Have your photograph taken with those who are "larger" than you and wah-la. Thanks to the guy in RED, I do relatively appear to be slimmer. Standby, SANTA CLAUS. I want to have a picture with you !!!
