Hong Kong seem to be very much associated with "Shopping" and "Dinning". Every other corner in the Streets of Hong Kong is a place to shop or to indulge. Thought its my 4th time on this little island, never did see it from this angle. Thought it was just work, work and more work, in this fast pace of life.
A trip up to "The Peak" provided the bird-eye view of the Hong Kong city/harbour (Just don't try to walk up !!!); However the surrounding (around the high ground) are all the attractions for food, food and more food plus all the opportunity to shop till you drop.
Be it the famous roast goose, BBQ pork and century egg dish at Yung Kee Restaurant or the fishball kuay-teow at Tsui Wah Restaurant, the urge to over indulge is simply a calling.
Eating seem to be an adventure. From milk tea to lemongrass with plum tonic drink to eyeing what the neighbouring table has ordered .... it was just being plain greedy. So much for dieting and watching the Blood Pressure level. Definitely a damaging experience for the waistline and the wallet !!!
