Moments under the Sun

The sun is out. Temperature rose from the chilling 10-12C. People are just out lazing around under the sun. Certainly a welcome change from the windy days of the past week. Snapshot taken from the balcony of Dickens Inn (3rd Floor) where we are having a traditional British "Fish & Chips". (Don't know why they are still called "chips". They are really potato wedges. Hugh chunky ones !!!!). Guess its just a typical sunny British summer day !!!

So when in London, do what the local folks do ... laze around under the sun !!! ... and having a ball !!!

Chelsea's newest fan

For someone who associates football with "23 people running after an inflated leather", this is probably the closest that he will ever get to a football game. Whilst in London, popped by the Chelsea's Stadium to accompany a friend to look for football souvenirs. Its BIG Business !!! Lots of gift/souvenir items associated with the football club lined the side store of the stadium. Fans, in all shapes and sizes were all over the place. It would be sucidial to pop by this place wearing another T-shirt or scarf from another football club. Outside, a wall, lined with all the players (life size) were ready for photo-shoot.
Like all other tourists who visited the place, this snap-shot is a MUST .>>!!! Go Chelsea !!!

Witnessed by Albert, Shawnna, Irene and Nick, the S$10.00 note (contributed from Nick's wallet) was officially handed over, complete with photograph taken. A finally closure to the Spirit of Eddy's fund.

Ex-ISCP Pals meet-up ... again !!!

A 9-hole golf game before sunset with former Navy and Police mates at Indah Puri ended the day packed programme. With favourable cloud coverage to provide a shady game, the 3 flight game even saw a PAR with borrowed clubs/shoes. Catching up on "old" times was the order of the day. Nothing like a good golf game (even with bad scores) with buddies, caddies and golf carts on the green.
